The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.

No one is beyond the reach of God’s love.
Salvation is not reserved for a select few — it’s available to everyone.

Why do we need salvation?

We live in a world that can often feel unjust, broken, and overwhelming. As individuals, we may struggle with:

  • Inner battles – anger, temptation, guilt, or low self-worth
  • Mental or emotional pain – despair, anxiety, or grief
  • Life pressures – poverty, stress, isolation, or burnout
  • A sense of helplessness – wanting to change, but feeling stuck

In the face of all this, the Christian message offers something radically hopeful:
You are not alone, and you are not without hope.

What do Christians believe?

Jesus came with a message of good news — the Gospel — proclaiming the Kingdom of God and offering new life for all.

Through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, Christians believe:

  • The power of evil and sin has been broken
  • Forgiveness, healing, and freedom are available to all
  • God invites us into a new way of living — full of purpose, peace, and joy

If we open our hearts to God — accepting forgiveness, seeking transformation, and being guided by the Holy Spirit — we can begin a journey of healing, wholeness, and hope.
